2010年選秀狀元沃爾，7日面對魔術大軍猶如戰神般31投18中，狂得52分，外加8助攻；惟其他諸將輔佐不力，巫師最終仍以116比124敗下陣來。
在主場應戰的沃爾獨撐42分鐘，開賽後即不斷殺進殺出，很有效率的撕裂敵軍防線；不過自家陣營卻防守不力，關鍵第2節防線洞開，被魔術攻下40分，上半場結束落後13分。
下半場更成為沃爾的個人秀，他不但能在三人防守中殺出血路拿下分數，還可從後場一路帶球殺到禁區挑籃得手。但獨木難撐大廈，巫師依舊以8分之差，吞下本季第13場敗仗。
沃爾寫下個人生涯單場新高得分52分，成為繼鵜鶘隊安東尼戴維斯、雷霆隊韋斯布魯克、勇士隊克雷湯普生之後，本季第4位單場得分超過50分以上的球員。
魔術替補悍將比先發球員的表現來得優異，板凳席合力貢獻73分，比先發五虎多了21分。
